GamerHash allows you to get CS:GO skins with your mining income in a fast and reliable way thanks to
the partnership with Skinwallet. If you want to buy your dream skin for the first time, check out our
guideline for Skins Marketplace.
What are CS:GO skins?
Skins were introduced to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in 2013 and contributed to the success and
popularity of the game. What are skins actually? Simply put, skins allow you to customize your weapons, knives
and your character models. What makes them unique is the fact that they are virtual items that are not
permanently bound to your Steam account (however, they never leave the Steam platform). You are free to trade
them with other players. All skins that you own are kept in your Steam inventory to be used as you please.
How can I get skins?
You can obtain skins in various ways. The easiest way to get them is through the loot chest system after
completing the game. To loot a chest, you need to buy a key to open it (also available in the GamerHash’s
Store), as a reward you can find inside a random item from a specific collection, from ordinary to extremely
rare knives or gloves. Some skins are only available on rare occasions or during limited-time CS:GO
operations. You can also buy the CS:GO skins you are looking for on the Steam Market. There are many different
levels of uniqueness, and the prices for CS:GO skins range from a few cents to thousands of dollars.
How to unlock Steam Marketplace?
To use the Steam Market you need to meet appropriate conditions. First, your account must be older than 15
days and it has to have at least $5 in the Steam Wallet or spent in games. Second, you need to enable the
Steam Guard – a security system based on your mobile device, you will have to download the official Steam app
to log in to your Steam account or approve CS:GO skins transactions between two accounts.
When you meet all the Steam Marketplace’s requirements, you may begin to trade CS:GO items.

CS:GO Float Value Explained
The wear level is a statistic that affects the condition and the price of a given skin. It is expressed in the
so-called Float Value, which is a point scale that ranges from 0.0, which means a perfect condition, to 1.0,
which means completely worn out. CS:GO skins exist in 5 levels of their quality.
Below you can find all quality levels from best to worst:
Factory New (0.00 – 0.07)
Minimal Wear (0.07 – 0.15)
Field Tested (0.15 – 0.38)
Well-Worn (0.38 – 0.45)
Battle-scared (0.45 – 1.00)
It is worth noting that not all skins are available in all conditions. A good example is the AWP Asiimov - a
famous skin for the sniper rifle. However, we will not find it in the condition of Factory New or Minimal
Wear. The opposite example is the great-looking Butterfly Knife in the Fade version - it only drops in Factory
New and Minimal Wear condition.
How to buy skins and how long will it take for the ordered items to be delivered to
my Steam account?
The process is almost instantaneous if you follow this simple, step-by-step guide:
- Make sure that your account is not restricted or limited
by Steam.
- Choose the skin you want to order.
- Look at the skin’s description. With the button "Inspect in game" you can see it directly in the CS:GO
game (you need to install the game first).
- Click the "Get it now" button.
- Enter your Steam ID in SteamID64 (DEC) format (How
to find it?) and your Steam Trade
URL (How
to find it?).
- Make sure that the privacy of your inventory is set to Public (What
does this mean?).
- Select the wallet to pay for the order and enter the security PIN to confirm the transaction. Your
funds were taken out of your account, so skin is yours!
- Now go to your orders and send the skin to your Steam account.
- "Withdraw" allows you to transfer the skin to your inventory. Click it and wait until our bot contacts
you on Steam. You can accept transactions through the Steam client or in your browser.
- Confirm the offer on your Steam Account. Congratulations, it’s as simple as that.
Keep in mind that sometimes Steam has problems which may delay skins delivery. In case of any problems, we
