The game takes place on the large area of Paradise City – a fictional metropolis which contains, among other things, an island with an airport, a bay with skyscrapers and hills that are free of any infrastructure. The player’s task is mostly spectacular driving and breaking the traffic regulations. One can drive against more than thirty various rivals and unlock new vehicles while progressing in the game. The vehicles aren’t licensed, but they are based on such cars like American muscle cars (for example the Ford Mustang) and European machines like Ferrari Enzo. During the races the player has great freedom of movement and he should look for shortcuts.
