Crysis Remastered Trilogy is a set of cult first-person shooters from German studio Crytek. The package includes the 2020 Crysis Remastered, a remastered version of the first installment in the series, and the newly refreshed Crysis 2 and Crysis 3. The action of the Crysis trilogy begins in the year 2020. North Korean military forces take control over Lingshan archipelago located on South China Sea. During the attack, a group of archaeologists are taken prisoner and discover advanced technology of unknown origin on the islands. An American special forces unit is sent to the islands on a rescue mission to save the archaeologists. However, it soon turns out that there is a conflict on the island between Korean soldiers and an aggressive alien race called the Cepids. Eventually, the Cepids launch an attack on Earth, intending to eliminate humanity. The player's task is to stop the invasion and save the world.
