GHXP Seasons

What is a Season?

A Season is a fixed 1-month competition window in GamerHash AI. During a Season, you earn GHXP by using the app. At the end of the Season, you can commit your GHXP to the shared reward pool — and your share of the GHX rewards is allocated based on how much you contributed relative to all other participants.

How long does a Season last?

Each Season lasts 1 month. You can see the exact time remaining at the top of the Season modal (e.g. "Ends in: 1h 43m").

What does "Commit GHXP" mean?

Committing GHXP means submitting a portion of your Saved GHXP into the current Season's shared reward pool. The more you commit, the larger your share of the GHX rewards at the end of the Season.

Can I change my commitment after submitting?

No. Once you confirm your commitment, it is final. You cannot increase it, decrease it, or cancel it until the Season ends.

What happens to my committed GHXP at the end of the Season?

Committed GHXP is burned — permanently removed — when the Season ends. In return, you receive GHX based on your share of the total committed pool.

Why is the GHXP burned and not returned?

The burn mechanism is what gives the pool real weight. If GHXP were returned, there would be no meaningful trade-off in committing more — and rewards couldn't be tied to genuine commitment from the community.

Do I have to commit all my GHXP?

No. You can commit any amount from 0 to 80% of your Saved GHXP balance. The modal offers quick presets at 25%, 50%, 75%, and MAX (80%), plus a slider and number field for precise amounts.

What happens to GHXP I don't commit?

Uncommitted GHXP stays in your Saved balance and rolls over to future Seasons. It is not burned and not lost.

Can I commit GHXP to multiple Seasons at once?

No. Only one Season is active at a time. You can commit once per Season, and the next Season starts after the current one ends.

How are GHX rewards calculated?

Your GHX reward is your proportional share of the Season's reward pool, based on how much GHXP you committed relative to the total GHXP committed by all participants. The more you contribute to the pool, the larger your allocation.

When do I receive my GHX after a Season ends?

GHX rewards are distributed shortly after the Season concludes.

Is committing GHXP a form of gambling?

No. Here's why:

  • You don't pay money to participate. GHXP is earned by using the app — not purchased.
  • The outcome is not random. Your share of the reward pool depends on how much GHXP you commit relative to others.
  • There's no "house" taking a cut against you. GHX rewards are distributed to participants based on transparent, proportional rules.

That said, your committed GHXP is permanently burned, so you should commit only what you're comfortable spending in exchange for your share of the reward pool.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

Your account and Saved GHXP balance are tied to your account, not your local installation. Reinstalling and signing in will restore your balance.

What if the app crashes during a task?

Pending (in-progress) GHXP for the current task may be lost, but your Saved balance is unaffected. The next task will start automatically when the app reconnects.

The Season modal says "Ends in: 0m" but I haven't received my GHX yet.

GHX distribution happens shortly after the Season closes — it's not instant. If you still don't see your reward after that window, contact support.

I committed GHXP but the "Currently Committed" counter shows 0.

Try restarting the app to refresh the state. If the issue persists, contact support with your account details and the Season number.
