Version 1.0 · 11 December 2026 · PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X|S

Path of Exile 2 for free — and your PC pays for the supporter pack

Your PC can pay for the supporter packs, points and stash tabs in Path of Exile 2. The game itself is free-to-play from version 1.0 on 11 December 2026, on PC, PS5 and Xbox — what costs money is cosmetics and extra storage. Your graphics card sits idle for hours every day; in those hours it runs AI jobs, your balance climbs, and you swap it for Steam credit that buys the pack straight from your Steam wallet.

  • Cheapest supporter pack on Steam: $29.99 / €27.75 for 300 points
  • What you pay out of pocket: nothing
  • An RTX 4090 earns it in under two weeks

Three steps. That is the whole thing.

No subscription, no small print. You rent out your graphics card for AI compute and get paid for it — during the hours you were not using the machine anyway.

01

Switch it on, forget it

Install the app, hit EARN, get on with your day. Setup takes about a minute.

02

The card works, the balance grows

Not gaming? Your GPU runs AI jobs. Heading back to Wraeclast? It steps aside instantly. You get paid by the hour.

03

Claim the pack

Turn the balance into Steam gift cards, top up your wallet and buy a supporter pack or points in the game store.

How many days does your card need?

The target is the cheapest supporter pack on Steam — 300 points. An RTX 5090 gets there in about ten days, a 4090 in roughly twelve, a 4080 in around two weeks and an older 3090 in about a month. The game is free, so you are not saving up for the door — only for what you want once you are inside. Pick your exact model and see your own number.

Run it on your card

Balances are held in GUSD — an internal unit equal to 1 USD. How fast it adds up depends on your card, the hours it runs and current network demand.

You pay from your Steam wallet

On Steam, Path of Exile 2 supporter packs are ordinary add-ons (DLC), paid from your Steam wallet. The cheapest is €27.75. Two Steam gift cards from the shop — €20 and €10 — put €30 in your wallet, which covers the pack and leaves the change for points.

Points bought in the in-game shop go through the Steam payment window as well, from the same wallet. The catalog also stocks Steam cards in dollars and złoty, so the denominations follow whatever currency your wallet runs in — the maths does not change.
