What are locked LHR cards?

LHR stands for Lite Hash Rate. This means that the new Nvidia GPUs are equipped with performance limiters that are designed to make “mining” cryptocurrencies unprofitable. LHR technology detects when they are used to mine cryptocurrencies and automatically halves their performance. This is the only difference between locked LHR cards and their prototypes without this lock.

Which NVIDIA GeForce cards are locked LHR cards?

  • Nvidia RTX 3050
  • Nvidia RTX 3060
  • Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti (Founders Edition unaffected)
  • Nvidia RTX 3070 (Founders Edition unaffected)
  • Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti
  • Nvidia RTX 3080 (Founders Edition unaffected)
  • Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti

Check out how to unlock 100% of your graphics card power when mining with an Nvidia graphics card with the LHR in the Gamerhash desktop app.
