Requirements depend on what you want to use the app for. GamerHash AI has two separate functions with different hardware thresholds.

Earning — the EARN module

Sharing computing power works on NVIDIA cards only. AMD and Intel GPUs are not supported. What matters is a pair of values: your card's VRAM and your system RAM. Two combinations work:

24 GB VRAM + 32 GB RAM — any architecture. Older cards such as the RTX 3090 are supported, but the newest NVIDIA models earn considerably more.

16 GB VRAM + 64 GB RAM — Ada Lovelace or newer only, meaning the RTX 40 and 50 series.

Below 16 GB of VRAM the app will not accept paid tasks — that covers every 12 GB and 8 GB card.

Local AI models

Image generation, video generation and AI chat run locally on your computer, with a lower threshold than the EARN module:

12 GB VRAM — the minimum. Enough for image generation.

16 GB VRAM — required for video generation. It is also the level at which every feature runs smoothly.

This means a 12 GB card — an RTX 3060, RTX 4070 or RTX 5070 — will not earn in the EARN module, but will let you use the AI features for free.

Windows 11 64-bit or newer, 100 GB of free disk space for the model cache, and a TPM 2.0 module. To check whether you have TPM, press Windows + R and run tpm.msc.
